Especially cocktails with a sparkle, and the fewer the carbs the better, naturally. So here’s a list of our favourite refreshingly simple recipes, using Forrit as a base. You’ll quickly realise how versatile it is, the more you experiment with it.
INGREDIENTS:
• Lemon juice
• Fresh mint
• Brown sugar (or sugar syrup)
• Gin of your choice
• Ice (crushed)
• Can of Peach, Lemon and Mint Forrit
EASY TO MAKE:
Muddle lemon juice & fresh mint in a tall glass then add sugar syrup (or brown sugar). Add a shot of gin and some ice (crushed if you have any). Top up with a can of Peach, Lemon and Mint Forrit. Garnish with either a peach slice, lemon wheel or mint sprig.
INGREDIENTS:
• Fresh basil
• Sugar syrup
• Lime juice
• Gin of your choice
• Ice
• Can of Watermelon, Lime and Basil Forrit
EASY TO MAKE:
Mix fresh basil, sugar syrup and lime juice in a cocktail shaker (or container with lid). Muddle and crush together until the basil is bruised; then add a shot of gin and ice cubes. Shake until the outside of the shaker is cold. Then strain (you can use a sieve; but be careful you don’t spill it!) into a tall cocktail glass with ice. Top up with can of Watermelon, Lime and Basil Forrit. Garnish with lime or a little basil.
INGREDIENTS:
• Gin of your choice
• Lime juice
• Sugar syrup
• Ice
• Strawberries
• Can of Strawberry, Rhubarb and Ginger Forrit
EASY TO MAKE:
Add a shot of gin and all the ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth, and pour into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with sliced strawberries.
